NACE Award Nominations

NACE Houston Section Members :
Nomination for the various NACE International Awards are due to NACE Headquarters by June 30. We need your help with nominations. Everyone knows someone (including themselves!) who deserves one of these awards. Background information is needed to file the application on behalf of the Houston Section. Essentially, we need the nominee's resume, with details that justifies the award. Please go to the NACE International Web site to see the criteria for each award. Your nomination information is required by April 15 to allow time to polish it and obtain the concurrence of the Houston Section Board.

R.A. Brannon Award: Contributions at association level through diligent and unique service in promotion and development of NACE.

A.B. Campbell Award: Young author of outstanding paper published in Materials Performance or Corrosion publication in the past year. Author must be under 35 years of age.

T.J. Hull Award: Recognition for outstanding contribution in field of publications.

F.N. Speller Award: Recognition of significant contributions to corrosion engineering.

H.H. Uhlig Young Educator Award: Recognition for a young educator who has excited students through outstanding and innovative teaching in corrosion.

W.R. Whitney Award: Recognition of significant contributions to the science of corrosion.

Technical Achievement Award: Recognition of significant technical achievement in corrosion engineering.

Distinguished Service Award: Recognition of distinguished service to NACE at section, region, area or association level.

Distinguished Organization Award: Recognition for outstanding contributions to the field of corrosion science or engineering over a sustained period of time.

Fellow Award: Recognition for distinguished contributions in the fields of corrosion and its prevention.
